About Our Eating Disorders Team
The Eating Disorders Team provides evidence-based treatment for a wide range of eating and food related problems that integrate current research and flexibly adapt protocols based on individual factors. The EDC works with folks with disordered eating and body image concerns throughout the lifespan and with many diverse identities. We welcome folks solely with eating problems, as well as those with multiple high-risk, difficult to treat problems including depression, anxiety, trauma symptoms, self-harm, suicidality, and substance abuse. We specialize in comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for eating disorders, emotion dysregulation, and comorbid concerns. We also implement cognitive-behavioral therapy for eating disorders (CBT-E) and avoidance and restrictive food intake disorder (CBT-AR). Family Based Treatment (FBT) is offered for children and adolescents with disordered eating. Integrated care (therapy and medication management) is available when appropriate. All therapists operate within a multicultural framework and are skilled in providing LGTBQIA+ affirming care.
