BIOGRAPHY

Chrissna graduated from Western Washington University (WWU) in Psychology with a Bachelors of Science. He was heavily influenced to pursue advocating for accessibility to mental health resources from his time being Co-President of the Khmer Students Association (KhSA) up at WWU. Seeing the diaspora of his community and the inaccessibility to access culturally competent mental health services, he has been motivated to bridge the gap. During his undergraduate career he has been involved in cultural preservation and advocating for cultural identity. He was a part of many programs and events such as hosting the annual Pacific Northwest Khmer Conference at WWU, being a presenter at the Rising Southeast Asian (SEAs) conference that focuses on intergenerational cultural bridging for youth and adolescents, as well as community activism and engagement. He enjoys spending most of his time talking and streaming games on Discord with his friends, Yelping new places to eat at, and leisurely drives around the PNW.
