Postdoctoral Fellows at EBTCS
We currently have several doctoral-level clinicians who are accepting new clients and offer reduced fees for their services as they wait for WA state to approve them for licensure. We have providers available who specialize in child anxiety/OCD, adult anxiety/OCD, DBT, and eating disorders, all of whom provide evidence-based mental health care.
Contact UsWhat is a Postdoctoral Fellow?
A postdoctoral fellow is a clinician who has graduated from a doctoral program in psychology (PhD or PsyD), has 5–7 years of clinical training, and who has chosen to complete advanced training at EBTCS. Fellows join EBTCS to gain specialized experience before becoming independently licensed practitioners.
While in training, fellows at EBTCS practice under the supervision of licensed psychologists, similar to a medical doctor doing a fellowship, to deepen their expertise. This structure allows them to apply their skills in real-world settings while receiving continued mentorship and support.
Each fellow brings a strong academic foundation, years of hands-on experience, and the continuous support of our senior licensed psychologists, ensuring every client receives high-quality, evidence-based care.
Why Choose a Postdoctoral Fellow?
Highly Trained
Fellows at EBTCS have completed 5-7 years of rigorous clinical training before joining EBTCS. Here, they apply advanced techniques with guidance from seasoned psychologists.
Experienced
Before beginning their fellowship, our clinicians have already provided therapy to a wide range of clients in diverse clinical settings. They come to EBTCS ready to apply their skills with confidence, empathy, and a deep understanding of what effective, individualized care looks like.
Specialized
Each fellow focuses on specific areas of practice, including anxiety, OCD, DBT, eating disorders, and related concerns. This specialized focus helps clients receive targeted, personalized treatment that supports real progress.
Supervised
Every fellow receives regular supervision and consultation from senior EBTCS psychologists. This collaboration ensures that each client benefits from the expertise of multiple clinicians, not just one.
Selected With Care
Our fellowship is highly competitive. We accept only the most skilled and compassionate clinicians, each chosen for their dedication to quality care.
