The EBTCS community shares a value to learn from and take actions guided by Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi’s Black Lives Matter Movement. In 2020 EBTCS shared in the outrage and grief at the murders of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Tony McDade, and countless others. We understand that their deaths, and the deaths of those far preceding 2020, are part of an unacceptable historic pattern systemic racism.
We at EBTCS remain committed to upholding the values of racial justice and equity in how we treat each other, our clients, and how we engage with our broader community. We have expanded company programs aimed at financial redistribution to causes supporting racial justice and anti-racism work. We also continue to provide ongoing training and discussion for our employees to both maintain and grow a workplace rooted in anti-racism.
If you’re interested in additional information regarding EBTCS’ current programs or in collaborating on a community focused anti-racism effort, please contact us at info@ebtseattle.com.
