BIOGRAPHY

Sylvie Taylor

Client Services Coordinator

Administrative Staff, Child Anxiety Center

Sylvie graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, majoring in Psychology and Brain Sciences and minoring in Applied Psychology.

While at UCSB, Sylvie worked in the University’s Children’s Center as well as the Social Cognitive Development Research Lab. Here, she worked closely with professors and graduate students to develop studies, collect and analyze data, and expand her knowledge of cognitive development in children. This combination of experiences sparked her interest in clinical psychology and shaped her goal of attending graduate school in the future. Before EBTCS, Sylvie worked in ABA therapy with children with autism and related mood disorders. She found the work very rewarding and found it fulfilling to see the positive outcomes that therapy has on individuals.

In her free time, Sylvie enjoys weekly visits to the farmers market, attempting new pottery creations, and spending time with friends.
