Consultation and Training Services at EBTCS
Expert Guidance for Potential Clients and Mental Health Professionals
Consultation for Potential Clients
Individuals who are interested in seeking care at our center will at times come in for a one-time consultation to help determine whether our services and center are the best fit. A consultation is not a formal assessment, does not require a commitment to start treatment, and can often be helpful for clarifying the nature of the problems being experienced and providing information about appropriate treatment directions.
If you are interested in seeking more information about a consultation with one of our providers, please call our office at 206-374-0109, or contact us below.
For Mental Health Providers
Therapists at EBTCS are available for clinical consultation to other mental health professionals on a one-time or ongoing basis regarding all of our areas of specialization.
- Child and adult anxiety, OCD, and related disorders
- Eating disorders across the lifespan
- DBT
- Including problems with emotion dysregulation, self-harm, and suicide behaviors
Therapists in the community typically seek consultation from our providers to assist with clarifying clinical diagnoses, generating ideas about appropriate types and levels of care, and consultation about ongoing treatment planning.
Talks and Training
Clinicians at EBTCS frequently give talks in the community, as well as trainings and workshops for other professionals (e.g., therapists, physicians, teachers and other school personnel) in the Seattle area and beyond. If you are interested in learning more about these services, please contact us.
