BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Graves is a clinical psychologist working with adolescents and adults in the DBT Center at EBTCS.

Dr. Graves has specialized training and experience delivering evidence-based treatment for individuals suffering from emotion dysregulation, suicidality, personality disorders, mood and anxiety disorders.

Dr. Graves received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Virginia Tech and doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her graduate research focused on the assessment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in children and adults. She completed her doctoral internship at Sharp Psychiatric Hospital in San Diego, treating adults and older adults with acute and chronic severe mental illness. Her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas specialized in adult group psychotherapy program development and clinical supervision.

Dr. Graves focuses on developing a collaborative and genuine therapeutic relationship to support individuals in making meaningful changes and building a life worth living. Her clinical passions include providing evidence-based treatment for individuals with personality disorders and chronic mental illnesses. She is also passionate about developing culturally-sensitive group psychotherapy programs in underserved communities, and providing clinical supervision and training.

Dr. Graves is a licensed psychologist in the state of Washington. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and Division 49 member. She is also an AGPA certified group psychotherapist and member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association. She currently serves as co-chair for the AGPA Group Psychotherapy Training and Supervision board.
