Dakotah Cruz

Client Services Coordinator

Administrative Staff, Psychiatry

Dakotah is a Client Service Coordinator for Psychiatry Services at EBTCS.

Dakotah graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.

During her time at Washington State University, Dakotah participated in research investigating the effects of social media dependency on self-esteem among university students. She also volunteered with the organization Family Promise of the Palouse, where she was able to support and foster a sense of community among the unhoused population within the greater Palouse area.

During her undergraduate career, she traveled to Athens, Greece, for an internship at a Greek nonprofit, IASIS. During the internship, she worked alongside psychiatrists to provide inpatient care for individuals with PTSD, depression, schizophrenia, and other conditions. This is where she gained a passion for pursuing clinical psychology in the future, with a focus on PTSD and trauma-related treatment for children.

Outside of work, Dakotah enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching new shows and movies, and traveling.
