Client Services Coordinator

Administration, Anxiety Center

BIOGRAPHY

Ann is the Client Services Coordinator for the Anxiety Center at EBTCS.

Ann graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, minoring in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies (GWSS).

While at the University of Washington, Ann was able to more firmly understand her educational and professional path, encouraging her participation with the Center for the Study of Health and Risk Behaviors (CSHRB) as a research assistant on Project BRIGHT. Alongside her P.I., Jessica Canning, PhD, Ann was able to gain a deep passion for research, coding, conducting motivational interviews, and presenting at her undergraduate research symposium, continuing to expand on a lack of comprehensive understanding within underrepresented populations. While conducting research, Ann was also able to experience evidence-based practice, working within the field of child-focused Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). There, Ann learned the importance and excitement that hands-on, evidence-based intervention has within the field of psychology and her life, further motivating her to continue her educational and professional career.

Her career aspirations include engaging with collaborative, genuine, and direct care to underrepresented communities, with a particular emphasis on adult mental health. Ann hopes to contribute her ongoing development within an innovative academic space as a future clinical grad student, pushing the limits of psychology in her professional career ahead.

In her free time, Ann enjoys rock climbing, spending time with friends and family, staying active by any means (i.e., hiking, lifting, walking, biking), and cooking.
