Client Services CoordinatorAdministration, Eating Disorders Center
Marina is a Client Services Coordinator.
Marina received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Washington.
During her time at UW, she was an undergraduate research assistant for Project BRITE (Brief Restructuring Intervention Following Trauma Exposure), a study that aims to decrease the risk of developing psychopathology following sexual assault by intervening with victims early in their recovery process. Marina also volunteered at North Helpline, an emergency services and food bank center that serves the homeless community. Her experience at Project BRITE and North Helpline strengthened her passion for mental health and community service interventions.
Marina started out as a volunteer for EBTCS to learn more about psychology in a clinical setting. During her time as a volunteer, she developed a strong understanding of outpatient care, the significance of evidence-based treatments, and was inspired to pursue clinical psychology at the graduate level. The knowledge she gained as a volunteer, interest in clinical psychology, and passion for serving our wonderful clients led to her to being hired on as a Client Services Coordinator for the Eating Disorders Center.
Outside of work, Marina enjoys traveling, going to concerts, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends, family, and kittens!
