BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Fiona Macphee is a clinical psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and their families in the Child Anxiety Center at EBTCS.

Dr. Macphee has advanced training and experience in the treatment of youth with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders. She also has extensive expertise in treating youth and their families with co-occurring attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and behavioral difficulties.

Dr. Macphee completed her undergraduate degree in psychology and child and adolescent mental health at New York University (NYU). During this time, Dr. Macphee worked in numerous programs at the NYU Child Study Center where she developed a lifelong passion for providing clinical interventions for youth. She then pursued her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Florida International University, completed her pre-doctoral internship at University of Washington and her post-doctoral fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Dr. Macphee has a longstanding passion for supporting caregivers of youth experiencing mental health difficulties. Much of her doctoral research and clinical work focused on interventions that support caregivers and she has published numerous book chapters and scientific articles on this subject.

Dr. Macphee is a member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT) and the American Psychological Association (APA).
