BIOGRAPHY
Evelina Miropolsky is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) who works with clients of all ages and their families in the Eating Disorder Center, as well as clients from other programs at EBTCS.
Evelina received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Whitman College and completed her master’s degree in nutritional sciences and dietetic training at the University of Washington’s School of Public Health. She completed her dietetic internship at a variety of sites across the Greater Seattle Area, including the University of Washington Medical Center, WIC Federal Way, and Seattle Children’s Hospital, where she was selected for the Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) fellowship. During her training, she gained supervised experience working with adolescents with eating disorders/disordered eating using the Family-Based Treatment (FBT) approach.
Evelina believes in client-centered care that honors each individual’s unique situation—intersecting identities, strengths, skills, and values. As an experienced student and teacher of yoga and mindfulness practices, she values a mind-body-spirit approach to wellbeing that recognizes health as so much more than the food we eat. She is a strong advocate for weight-inclusive care and follows the Health at Every Size paradigm. Her other professional interests include Intuitive Eating, recovery from chronic dieting, and BIPOC health equity.
Evelina is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP), and is a licensed dietitian in the state of Washington.
