Dr. Lischner is the Medical Director of EBTCS. He is also a Founding Member of EBTCS.
About Dr. Lischner
Dr. Lischner received his M.D. from the University of Washington. He completed his medical internship at the University of Pennsylvania and his specialty training in psychiatry at the University of Washington. His clinical interests include pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy for mood and anxiety problems and problems with emotion regulation. During his residency he was Inpatient Chief Resident in Psychiatry at the University of Washington. Upon graduation he was awarded the Hoffman Award for excellence in community psychiatry. He is a member of the clinical faculty at the University of Washington, where he teaches a yearly seminar in Interpersonal Psychotherapy to psychiatry and psychology residents.
Dr. Lischner is board certified in adult psychiatry and has memberships in the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA). He speaks Spanish as a second language. Before medical school he worked as a professional soccer player and as a middle school teacher in Washington Heights in New York City. He also completed a Master of Science degree in Applied Science at New York University.
